This is such a healthy, fresh, naturally sweet breakfast, and even though it can definitely serve 2 people I have been known to devour it all for myself!
It will only take 20 minutes to prepare, and the majority of prep time is taken up slicing and prepping the fruits. For this version, I selected an assortment of berries, kiwi fruit, lush pineapple, watermelon and cantaloupe. For the smoothie, you can search the recipe index or simply blend the following:
4 frozen bananas
1-2 cups frozen berries
1 cup coconut milk
1 tablespoon shredded coconut
3 tablespoons vanilla protein powder (I choose RAW)
2-3 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
Simply blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy, and then pour into a glass or bowl. I like to chill the glass or bowl before serving.
