Favourite Smoothie Bowl With Fresh Fruit
I have several favourite smoothie bowl recipes on rotation, and this is definitely in my top three.
It's perfect if you need a healthy, filling breakfast that won't leave you feeling weighed down, or I often have it after a long walk or hike. It will keep you full for at least four hours.
For the smoothie, simply blend four frozen bananas, one cup of milk (I use coconut and almond), one to two cups of frozen berries, three tablespoons of maple syrup ( I like it sweet), three tablespoons of protein powder (vanilla or coconut flavour) and one tablespoon of shredded coconut.
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy and pour into a chilled bowl. Then, top with your sliced fruit (I love anything tropical and sweet!), and add some rawnola, gogi berries or muesli if you feel like some extra filler.
