Triple Berry Smoothie, Fresh Fruit, and Rawnola
Now this is really something. When I'm in the mood for a breakfast that is healthy, nourishing and filling, I often go to this triple-threat combination of tasty goodness.
It will keep you energised for at least four to five hours, and it's a divine morning treat or way to replenish your body after a workout. Enjoy, BB xxxx
To make the berry smoothie is simple, and I have included my recipe below:
4 frozen bananas (very ripe)
1 cup frozen berries (I chose strawberries and raspberries)
1 cup of milk of your choice (I chose an almond and coconut milk flavour)
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon shredded coconut
3 tablespoons protein powder (I use RAW coconut flavour)
The Bondi Baker Method
All you need to do is blend on high for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Then, simply pour into a large bowl, and top with fresh fruit. I also added rawnola which you can buy from your local health food store. Alternatively, you can sprinkle some granola or muesli of your pwn personal choice.
