Flu Fighting Fresh Juice and Muffins
If you're a sunshine and sea girl like me, then winter is a time of introspection and hibernation. I use it to think about new projects and self improvement so by summertime I am all pumped up to play! This post is a double trouble whammy of healthy flu fighters including a tropical explosion fresh fruit juice and some warm, nutritious muffins. We love a carb here at BB, they are a filling frenemy to fight the cold and give you energy. BB xxxx
Tropical explosion fruit juice
Blood orange or plain oranges
Or veer off the tropical path and add some Beetroot, Apple, Carrot or anything else you fancy! All you need to do is add everything into a juicer and then enjoy.
Banana and Peanut Butter Muffins
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup creamy yummy peanut butter
1 cup rice flour
2 teaspoon gluten free baking powder
125 grams melted butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips
The Bondi Baker Method.
Step 1- Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
Step 2- Mix bananas, eggs, sugar and peanut butter in a bowl or combine in a food processor. Mix ingredients in a large bowl and when thoroughly combined, add to the existing mixture with milk and melted butter. Stir thoroughly before adding in the chocolate chips with some love and care.
Step 3- Place the mixture into a lined or greased muffin tray and bake for 20 minutes.
Cool the muffins before removing from the tray and then sit down to enjoy with your juice and and a good mag!
